1. The specifications of the rotary kiln should be comprehensively determined according to the requirements for the output of the firing system, combined with the raw material and fuel conditions, as well as the configuration of the preheater, the decomposition furnace, and the cooler.

2. The length-diameter ratio (L/D) of the preheater kiln and the precalciner kiln should be 11-16.

3. The slope of the preheater kiln and the precalciner kiln should be 3.5%-4%; the maximum speed: the precalciner kiln should be 3.0-3.5r/min, and the preheater kiln should be 2.0-2.5r/min; Speed ​​range 1:10.

4. The cooling of the rotary kiln firing belt cylinder should be forced air cooling.

5. There should be measures to detect the temperature of the cylinder in the firing zone of the rotary kiln.

6. The main motor of the rotary kiln should be a stepless variable speed motor, and an auxiliary drive should be set up, and the auxiliary drive should have a backup power supply.

1. The vertical preheater with advanced structure and low pressure loss can effectively improve the preheating effect. The decomposition rate of preheated limestone into the kiln can reach 20-25%, and 10-15mm fine-grained limestone can be directly used. ;
2. Reliable combined scale seal at both ends of the rotary kiln. Use composite refractory materials to make the air leakage coefficient less than 10% to reduce the loss of radiant heat;
3. Filled, circular or square vertical coolers that can be ventilated in different regions, so that the lime temperature out of the cooler is 80OC+ ambient temperature, which is convenient for transportation , storage, and can preheat the secondary air entering the kiln to above 7000C, reducing moving parts and special materials.
